RESOLUTION NO. 14 <br />SERIES 2019 <br />A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF A REQUEST FOR A PLANNED <br />UNIT DEVELOPMENT AMENDMENT ADDRESSING SIGN DESIGN WAIVERS FOR <br />1414 HECLA WAY; 1408 HECLA WAY; AND 1712 PLAZA DRIVE (LOT 6, <br />LOUISVILLE PLAZA FILING 2 AND LOTS 1 AND 2 LOUISVILLE PLAZA FILING 3) <br />WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville Planning Commission an <br />application for approval of a request for a Planned Unit Development Amendment to <br />allow design changes to the signs on the subject properties that required waivers from <br />Louisville Municipal Code (LMC) Chapter 17.24 and the Commercial Development <br />Design Standards and Guidelines (CDDSG); and <br />WHEREAS, the City Staff has reviewed the information submitted and found that <br />the application does not comply with applicable PUD waiver criteria in LMC Sec. <br />17.28.110 as described in the Louisville Planning Commission Staff Report dated <br />October 10, 2019; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the application at a duly <br />noticed public hearing on October 10, 2019, where evidence and testimony were <br />entered into the record, including the findings in the Louisville Planning Commission <br />Staff Report dated October 10, 2019. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Louisville, Colorado does hereby recommend denial of a request for a Planned Unit <br />Development Amendment to allow changes to the signage that include waivers from the <br />adopted City standards for properties at 1414 Hecla Way; 1408 Hecla Way and 1712 <br />Plaza Drive. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of October, 2019. <br />• <br />Attest: <br />By: <br />Debra Williams, Secretary <br />Planning Commission <br />Steve Brauneis, Chairperson <br />Planning Commission <br />
