ORDINANCE NO. -214 <br /> , AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS TWO ( 2) AND SIX (6) OF AN ORDIN- <br /> ANCE ENTITTIM: "AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING OFFICERS AND TO PROVIDE FOR <br /> THE APPOINTMENT OF A TOWN MARSHAL AND BUILDING INSPECTOR AND DEPUTY <br /> TAX COLLECTOR, TO PRESCRIBE HIS BOND, AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE APPOINT- <br /> MMT OF A TOWN CLERK AND EX-OFFICIO STREET AND WATER COMMISSION <br /> AND DEPUTY MARSHAL AND BUILDING INSPECTOR AND TAX COLLECTOR, TO PRE- <br /> SCRIBE HIS BOND, AND TO REGULATE THE DUTIES OF SUCH OFFICER, AND TO <br /> REPEAL ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, " <br /> WHICH ORDINANCE IS NO. 117 AND ADOPTED ON SEPT} !IBER 3RD, 1918, AS <br /> AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO, 122 PASSED AND ADOPTED ON APRIL 6TH, 1920. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF LOUISVILLE, <br /> BOULDER COUNTY, COLORADO. <br /> SECTION 1: That Section Two k2) of the above entitled Ordinance as <br /> amended by Ordinance Ago. 122 is hereby further amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> SECTION 2. That the salary of such Town Marshal and Building In- <br /> spector and Deputy Tax Collector shall be One Hundred and Thirty- <br /> five Dollars, (0135.00) per month, payable monthly, but such-Marshal, <br /> Building Inspector and Deputy Tax Collector, shall receive no other " <br /> compensation or fees of whatsoever kind or nature for any duties <br /> now or hereafter required to be performed by him, and any fees earn- <br /> ed or redeived by him as such officer in executing the process of <br /> the Police Magistrate of the Town, or otherwise, shall be accounted <br /> for by him and turned into the Town Treasury. <br /> SECTION 2. That Section Six (6) of the above entitled Ordinance as <br /> amended by Ordinance No. 122 is hereby further amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> SECTION 6. The salary of the Town Clerk and ex-officio Water and <br /> Street Commissioner and Deputy .Town 'Marshal, Building Inspector and <br /> Tax Collector, shall be Une Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($p150.00) per <br /> month, payable monthly, but such officer shall receive no other com- <br /> pensation or fees of whatsoever kind or nature for any duties now or <br /> hereafter required to be performed by him in any of said capacities, <br /> and any fees earned or collected by him as heputy Town Marshal shall <br /> be accounted for by him and turned into the Town Treasury. <br /> SECTION 3. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict here- <br /> with are hereby repealed. <br /> SECTION 4. It is hereby declared. that this Ordinance and the pro- <br /> visions thereof is necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br /> public peace, health and safety for the reason that it is necessary to <br /> ensure the services of the present officers mentioned herein if the <br /> incumbents, or either of them, is or are retained in said offices <br />
