by the Marshal while performing his duties as such shall result in <br /> his death after he has received an allowance , or-;allowances, from <br /> such Fund by the Board, then his dependent, or dependents, if any <br /> shall only receive such amount in addition as will not exceed such <br /> 1000.00 maximum. In case of such death of the Marshal and there <br /> are only minor dependents, or a minor dependent of the Marshal, such <br /> allowances shall only be paid to a duly appointed guardian for the <br /> use and benefit of such dependents or dependent* <br /> SECTION 5. In case the Marshal is injured and incapacitated <br /> to the extent that he cannot perform,his regular duties and the <br /> Town is obliged to appoint and pay a special officer or elect a <br /> new Marshal in his place, then the allowance by the Pension Board <br /> may be in such amount in gross, or in installments for such period <br /> as it may determine , as will not exceed the said maximum total of <br /> $1000.00. <br /> SECTION 6. All payments from such fund as allowed by the <br /> Pension Board shall be by warrants signed by the Mayor and Clerk <br /> and directed to the Pension Board Treasurer. <br /> SECTION 7. Any and all funds heretofore alloted to and paid <br /> to the Town by the State for the so-called "Policemen' s Pension <br /> Fund' is hereby made subject to this Ordinance and the Town Trea- <br /> surer shall make all proper book entries in his books concerning <br /> same and all future accruals thereto and disbursements therefrom. <br /> SECTION S.
