survey, documentation, design) to make sure everything we have done to this
home is by the book.
5. A variance to allow our addition, which will essentially add less than 250 sq.
ft.to our home, would not alter the character of the neighborhood. In fact,it
will help keep our home looking like a miner's cottage from the street This
proposed addition is the absolute minimum we can imagine for such a
project And,considering we demolished a shed,a portion of the existing
house and a deck to accommodate the addition, the footprint of our home is
barely changing. The proposed addition would cause no adjacent property
owners any problems. We are surrounded on three sides by a single property
owner. Louisville zoning requirements prevent any structure being built
anywhere near where we hope to expand.
6. If granted, this variance would provide just enough room for our family to
stay at 725 West Street Our home is tiny, but we like our neighborhood and
our neighbors. We chose to live here and do not want to.move.We have one
child and are stretched to the limit for space.Adding the addition (a laundry
room and a dining room)would make a massive difference in the way we
live.
Thank you for considering our application for a variance.
Oakland L. Childers
Melissa Childers
