AUTHORITY BUSINESS

Ae

Show Cause Heating - Celtic Way, LTD., dfo/a Druid Arms - Tavern Liquor License, 809
Main Street.

City Attorney Sam Light stated that all the documents for the Show Cause Hearing for Celtic Way,
LTD., dfo/a Druid Arms were complete and in order and should be made a part of the record.

Chairperson Steve Jeffers opened the Show Cause heating for Celtic Way, LTD., d/b/a Druid Arms -
Tavern liquor license, 809 Main Street and made the documents of the Show Cause Order a part of the
record. He asked Special Prosecutor Steven Barnett if he was prepared to proceed.

Special Prosecutor Steven Barnett stated that he was not prepared to proceed with the heating. He
stated that he would like to present the findings of his investigation of the May 2, 1999 disturbance at
Druid Arms and move for dismissal of the Show Cause heating. However, if the Authority wished to go
forward with the hearing, he would request a continuance.

Chairperson Jeffers asked the Special Prosecutor to make a presentation of his investigation and follow
with his motion for dismissal.

Mr. Barnett reviewed the status of the two individuals who allegedly were involved in an assault, at the
Druid Arms Tavern. The two were later involved in a similar incident at their private residence. A police
investigation determined that there was a disturbance earlier at the Druid Arms Tavern. Barnett stated
that he could not substantiate any evidence of an assault taking place during the time the two individuals
were served at the Druid Arms. With regard to witnesses, there were no patrons or employees of the bar
that could remember an incident occurring. He stated that the criminal charges filed against the
establishment were dismissed in the municipal court by the City Prosecutor. Given his investigation and
the findings of the municipal court, Special Prosecutor Barnett moved to dismiss the Order to Show
Cause Order against Celtic Way, LTD dfo/a Druid Arms.

Michael Rennich, Attorney for the Licensee Druid Arms, joined Mr. Barnett in moving to dismiss the
Order to Show Cause against Druid Arms.

Public Hearing on New Brew Pub License Application - D. Myers, LLC, d/b/a RedStone
Brewery and Grill - 816 Main Street.

Chairperson Jeffers opened the public hearing on the application of D. Myers, LLC for a Brew Pub
license at 816 Main Street under the business name of RedStone Brewery & Grill.

The Secretary comment that the application is for a Brew Pub license. Copies of the application have
been provided to each Authority member. The application is complete, and fingerprint reports are
already on file with the state. Public notice of this hearing has been posted and published in accordance
with state law. The Secretary stated she was not aware of any reason that would require the Authority to

2
