Allison: Discussion with Parks Board member on shared goals on herbicide use. <br />Parks working on IPM plan and topic is on Jan 9 agenda. Allison will be <br />attending. <br />d. Allison: Dialogue with Mayor Stoltzmann. Council is prioritizing sustainability. <br />Workplan needs to incorporate topics to provide guidance on: plan update, <br />herbicide use in parks, solar access ordinances, plastic bag taxes or fees. <br /> <br />9 Sustainability Action Plan <br />a. First draft expected in January. Allison will share with Ashley that there <br />would be changes and some new sections to synergize with County and to <br />plan that Council will see Plan in April 2020. Katie suggests that LSAB <br />members work on section introductions. City Manager Office will review to <br />see where other staff work is needed. <br />b. Suggestion to incorporate State and County goals for GHG emissions <br />targets, Louisville needs to focus on aggressive goals and actions. <br />c. Annual reporting and dashboard on goals. <br />d. Should/ can/ how LSAP incorporate resilience issues? Possibly reference <br />existing drought and flood plans. Katie to check with CMO about existing <br />plans. <br /> <br />10 Sustainability Action Plan: Work Plan Draft <br />a. Need lots of time to strategize on budget (January) <br />b. Budget have background info on what budget items have been approved in <br />recent past. <br />c. Reference Council workplan. <br />d. Incorporate topics above under 8d. <br />e. Potentially add Historic Preservation cooperation. <br />f. Add Resilience Planning <br />g. Consider department/ director updates <br /> <br />11 2019 Staff Feedback <br />a.
