City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />February 18, 2020 <br />Page 2 of 18 <br />Dave Sinkey, 712 Main Street, stated he had received very positive comments about the <br />holiday lights this year helping to make downtown a destination. Also, he stated the more <br />Council and staff learn about metro districts the better; he stated these tools are essential. <br />APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT AGENDA <br />Mayor Stolzmann called for changes to the consent agenda. Hearing none she asked for <br />a motion to approve the,consent agenda. Councilmember Lipton moved to approve the <br />agenda; seconded by Fahey. All in favor. <br />A. Approval of Bills <br />B. Approval of Appointment to the Historic Preservation Commission <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br />AGENDA <br />None. <br />None. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br />PRESENTATION — BOULDER COUNTY CLERK AND RECORDER <br />Mircalla Wozniak gave a presentation on the upcoming 2020 election. She covered the <br />election processes for the presidential primary, the senate and congressional primary, <br />and the general election; important dates; the mail ballot process; and election security. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15, SERIES 2020 — A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN <br />AGREEMENT AMONG THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, THE LOUISVILLE <br />REVITALIZATION COMMISSION, AND THE LOUISVILLE FIRE PROTECTION <br />DISTRICT FOR PROPERTY TAX TIF REVENUE SHARING <br />Economic Vitality Director Megan Pierce stated the agreement in the packet was <br />approved by both the Revitalization Commission (LRC) and the Fire District and now <br />needs Council approval before the LRC can take final action.
