I have lived at 565 Fireside Street in Louisville for three years. My wife and I own the home.
I am writing to comment on Beef O'Brady's application to add a patio seating area.
I am generally in favor of approving the application. I have been a customer of the restaurant and have no complaints about its
operations, and I believe a patio area outside the restaurant would serve to spruce up the surrounding strip mall.
Given I live a several hundred feet from the restaurant site, my sole concern would be noise during the late night hours. But I don't
expect this to be a problem: We're probably too far away to hear anything, and the restaurant doesn't seem to be overly rowdy late
into the night. I would merely like assurances that the city would be able to impose sanctions if it received complaints from nearby
residents.
Thank you for providing me the opportunity to comment.
Regards,
John Lumpkin
0401 /2009
