The request to reconstruct the existing single -story accessory building into a two-story production
studio will have no detrimental effect on the existing site layout of the Gaiam development as the
applicant will utilize the footprint of the existing building. Because of this, there will be no change
to the on -site circulation or parking of the development.
The applicant has also provided architectural treatments to the building which provide good
articulation and relief. The use of varied materials, window elements and reclaimed timber meets
the applicable provisions within the CDDSG. Therefore, Staff recommends approval of an
amendment to the Final PUD Plan without conditions.
PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION:
Resolution No. 15, Series 2008, recommending an amendment to the Neodata Final PUD
Development Plan to demolish and reconstruct the existing accessory building to incorporate a
second floor for a production studio for Gaiam. The Commission may approve (with or without
conditions), continue or deny the request.
3
