Resolution No. 24, Series 2020 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 24 <br />SERIES 2020 <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A COTTONWOOD PARK TASK FORCE TO <br />PROVIDE ADVISORY RECOMMENDATIONS ON THE MASTER PLAN FOR <br />COTTONWOOD PARK <br />WHEREAS, the City strives to be both effective and efficient with public <br />outreach, public involvement and notification for city projects, general information and <br />special events; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council and City staff wants, encourages, and requires <br />citizen input on the possible changes to City facilities; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Charter Section 10-2(f), the City Council desires to <br />establish a Cottonwood Park Task Force to provide advisory recommendations on the <br />Cottonwood Park Master Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCILOF THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />1.There is hereby created a Cottonwood Park Task Force to provide advisory <br />recommendations in the Cottonwood Park Master Plan. <br />2.The Task Force will consist of 9-12 members appointed by the City Council with <br />an interest in and knowledge of the topic. <br />3.Of those members, seven (7) shall come from the following boards: <br />a.One (1) member from the City Council to chair the Task Force <br />b.Two (2) members from the Parks and Public Landscapes Advisory Board <br />c. Two (2) members from the Open Space Advisory Board <br />d.Two (2) members from the Recreation Advisory Board <br />4.The Director of Parks and Recreation shall designate appropriate City staff to <br />facilitate, assist and advise the Task Force as it works to achieve the goals <br />specified above. <br />5.The Task Force shall conclude its work and present its recommendations with a <br />consultant to the City Council. <br />6.The Task Force shall sunset on December 1, 2021
