Roll Call: PPLAB members present: Shelly Alm, Laurie Harford, Ellen Toon, Dave Clabots, Diana <br />Gutowski, Ezra Paddock, and Steve Knapp. Staff Liaison: Dean Johnson. Director of Parks & Rec: <br />Nathan Mosley. <br /> <br />2. Approval of Agenda: Unanimously approved <br /> <br />3. Approval of Minutes: Unanimously approved <br /> <br />4. Staff Updates <br />A. PPLAB herbicide recommendation will be presented to City Council <br />B. PPLAB will meet with City Council May 26th in a Study Session <br />C. Miner’s Field outfield fence project is almost complete <br />D. Playground replacement at Elephant Park and Keith Helart Park will begin Feb 17th <br />E. Updated trail map is in progress <br /> <br />5. Board Updates <br />N/A <br /> <br />6. Public Comments on Items Not on Agenda <br />N/A <br /> <br />7. Discussion and Prioritization on Capital Improvement Requests <br />A. Discussion around CIPs to consider: <br />1) Multi-Purpose Field: ongoing discussion <br />2) Improvements at Community Dog Park Small Dog Area: improve fencing, <br />expand to each area while fencing out pond, and consider a few amenities such <br />as additional benches with shade <br />3) Park Division Equipment, Replacement and New: larger chipper needed <br />4) Playground Replacement – two parks in progress, looking to upgrade others ex. <br />updates to older equipment, ADA accessibility, etc. <br /> 2
