Call to Order – The meeting was called to order by Riley Miller at 6:33 pm. <br />II. Roll call <br />• Present: Bruce Armstrong, Teddy Hart, Nate Hart, Sebi Medina, Riley Miller, Logan <br />Pius, Lincoln Roch, Connor Smith, Sena Williams, Mandy Perera (Liaison), Jessica <br />Schwartz (Liaison) <br />• Absent: Megan Beasley, Kaelan Norgard, Jocelyn Rapp, Sophie Russ <br /> <br />III. Approval of Agenda – Agenda was approved by all members. <br />IV. Approval of Minutes – The minutes from the January meeting were approved. <br />V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda - None <br />VI. Visit from Mircalla Wozniak from Boulder County Clerk and Recorder’s Office to discuss <br />teen voting in 2020. – Ms. Wozniak informed YAB members that any 17 year old teens who would <br />be 18 in November can vote in the 2020 presidential and senate primaries. She also told us about the <br />ballot counting process, and encouraged members to take a tour of the ballot processing center at the <br />Boulder County Clerk’s office. <br />• Register to vote at www.govotecolorado.gov <br />VII. Volunteer Projects <br />• February – The Sweetheart Dance on 2/1 went well. <br />• March – We will help at the Senior Center’s St. Patty’s dinner. <br />VIII. Legacy Day Project <br />• January – January’s “shop local” theme had mixed results. Members themselves tried to <br />shop locally, but we were unable to get a flyer prepared to spread the word. <br />• February – Theme is “Don’t be blind to being kind.” Posters were handed out to <br />members to pass around to businesses in different parts of town. Members will also <br />follow up with their schools to promote. <br />• March – We will focus on planning for April.
