Call to Order – The meeting was called to order by Riley Miller at 6:33 pm. II. Roll call • Present: Bruce Armstrong, Teddy Hart, Nate Hart, Sebi Medina, Riley Miller, Logan Pius, Lincoln Roch, Connor Smith, Sena Williams, Mandy Perera (Liaison), Jessica Schwartz (Liaison) • Absent: Megan Beasley, Kaelan Norgard, Jocelyn Rapp, Sophie Russ III. Approval of Agenda – Agenda was approved by all members. IV. Approval of Minutes – The minutes from the January meeting were approved. V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda - None VI. Visit from Mircalla Wozniak from Boulder County Clerk and Recorder’s Office to discuss teen voting in 2020. – Ms. Wozniak informed YAB members that any 17 year old teens who would be 18 in November can vote in the 2020 presidential and senate primaries. She also told us about the ballot counting process, and encouraged members to take a tour of the ballot processing center at the Boulder County Clerk’s office. • Register to vote at www.govotecolorado.gov VII. Volunteer Projects • February – The Sweetheart Dance on 2/1 went well. • March – We will help at the Senior Center’s St. Patty’s dinner. VIII. Legacy Day Project • January – January’s “shop local” theme had mixed results. Members themselves tried to shop locally, but we were unable to get a flyer prepared to spread the word. • February – Theme is “Don’t be blind to being kind.” Posters were handed out to members to pass around to businesses in different parts of town. Members will also follow up with their schools to promote. • March – We will focus on planning for April.
