RMMA and Jefferson County <br />have agreed to move forward with the establishment of a roundtable, and include the <br />Town of Superior and City of Louisville in its membership. <br /> <br /> As a next step, the City of Louisville Mayor is sending a letter to the Jefferson <br />County Commissioners to encourage the swift establishment of the RMMA noise <br />mitigation roundtable. <br /> <br />Finally, staff continues to work with state and federal legislative delegation members on <br />potential remedies to this issue. In March, the Mayors of the Town/City will be in <br />Washington DC and plan to meet with Colorado delegation members (and their staff), <br />as well as FAA, to discuss airport noise issues and any opportunities to address the <br />issue at the federal level. In addition, state legislators are looking at opportunities to <br />address any issues that are aligned with state authorities – such as air and noise <br />pollution. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENT(S): <br />1.
