<br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2020 BUDGET BY AMENDING
<br />APPROPRIATIONS IN THE GENERAL FUND, OPEN SPACE & PARKS FUND,
<br />CONSERVATION TRUST — LOTTERY FUND, CEMETERY FUND, HISTORIC
<br />PRESERVATION FUND, RECREATION FUND, CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND,
<br />WATER UTILITY FUND, WASTEWATER UTILITY FUND, STORM WATER
<br />UTILITY FUND, AND GOLF COURSE FUND FOR CARRY FORWARD OF
<br />APPROPRIATIONS AND ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS WITHIN SUCH
<br />FUNDS AND ADJUSTING BUDGETED REVENUE IN THE GENERAL FUND,
<br />OPEN SPACE & PARKS FUND, AND CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND
<br />WHEREAS, the need exists to amend the 2020 budget by amending
<br />appropriations in the General Fund, Open Space & Parks Fund, Conservation
<br />Trust — Lottery Fund, Cemetery Fund, Historic Preservation Fund, Recreation
<br />Fund, Capital Projects Fund, Water Utility Fund, Wastewater Utility Fund, Storm
<br />Water Utility Fund, and Golf Course Fund; and
<br />WHEREAS, the need exists to amend the 2020 revenue budget by
<br />amending budgeted revenue in the General Fund, Open Space & Parks Fund, and
<br />Capital Projects Fund; and
<br />WHEREAS, the need to amend the 2020 budget arises:
<br />1. To carry -forward unused appropriations from 2019 to 2020 for projects
<br />and purchases that were approved for 2019 but will not be completed until 2020;
<br />2. To formally adopt other additions and adjustments to the current 2020
<br />appropriations that were not anticipated, or were not measureable, at the time the
<br />original 2020 budget was adopted;
<br />3. To adjust the 2020 revenue budget for new revenue estimates and for
<br />new revenue sources that were not anticipated, or were not measureable, at the
<br />time the original 2020 budget was adopted; and
<br />WHEREAS, funding for any increase in appropriations will come from
<br />new/increased revenue or from fund reserves.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
<br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO:
<br />SECTION 1. That the 2020 General Fund appropriation be increased by
<br />$655,590, from $20,841,770 to $21,497,360.
<br />SECTION 2. That the 2020 Open Space & Parks Fund appropriation be
<br />increased by $1,197,740, from $3,527,540 to $4,725,280.
