WHEREAS, the City Council finds that an emergency exists because the preservation of <br />public property, health, safety, and welfare requires the City to take immediate action to ensure <br />the health of all City residents, public and private employees, business patrons, and to ensure <br />recipients of government services are protected to the greatest extent possible from transmission <br />of COVID-19 while engaging in commercial and governmental transactions within the City <br />during the Pandemic. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />Section 1. Section 7 of Ordinance No. 1793, Series 2020, is hereby amended to read <br />as follows (words to be deleted stern; words to be added underlined): <br />Section 7. Effective Date This ordinance shall become effective at <br />11:59 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2020 and shall continue in effect until midnight <br />on June 5, 2020- June 30, 2020, unless earlier terminated or extended. <br />Section 2. Except as amended by this Ordinance, all provisions of Ordinance No. <br />1793, Series 2020, shall continue in full force and effect in accordance with their terms. <br />Section 3.
