Local Licensing Authority
Minutes
May 18, 2020
A. Packet will be amended on the staff report for Tilt's renewal. The current
report states that there were no incidents over the past year that required
the filing of a police report, which is incorrect because a report was filed
on 06/15/2019.
Authority Attorney's Report
A. Attorney Melinda Culley reviewed the new rules from the Liquor
Enforcement Division regarding patio seating. City Clerk Meredyth Muth
spoke regarding the patio seating and a new resolution from City Council
authorizing the City Clerk's office to approve temporary modifications of
premises.
Authority Comment
A. Carlson had a question regarding the status of the Street Faire and
outdoor patios. The Street Faire has been cancelled and it is unknown at
this time if the patios will go out for the summer.
B. Carlson asked for update on Ajoya robbery. Sargent Redard said the
investigation was in process and will provide an update afterwards. Also
the police department has informed the other marijuana retailers of the
robbery so they can be aware.
C. Sargent Redard stated that there might be an upcoming report for Por and
Bittersweet, since they were instructed to stop conducting business for two
day in a row while businesses were required to be closed due to COVID
19.
Adjourn — Machado moved to adjourn. Carlson seconded. All in favor. The
meeting was adjourned at 7:20 pm.
