Historic Preservation Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />July 15, 2019 <br />Page 6 of 6 <br />Selvoski thanked the commissioners for their ideas and encouraged them to send <br />emails with further suggestions. <br />ITEMS FROM STAFF <br />Alteration/Demolition Updates <br />Selvoski informed the Commission that staff and a subcommittee granted an alteration <br />certificate for 1116 LaFarge and several re -roofs. 307 Eisenhower was reviewed for <br />demolition in December and the permit had been re-released and 515 Jefferson was <br />also reviewed for demolition. <br />Upcoming Schedule <br />August <br />19th — Open Government Training, Council Chambers, 5:30 PM <br />19th — Historic Preservation Commission, Council Chambers, 6:30 PM <br />September <br />16th — Historic Preservation Commission, Council Chambers, 6:30 PM <br />October <br />10-12th — PastForward: National Preservation Conference, Denver <br />21st — Historic Preservation Commission, Council Chambers, 6:30 PM <br />Selvoski stated that if there were any commissioners interested in the PastForward <br />conference the City might be able to find funds for them to attend. She also introduced <br />the new planner, Harry Brennan. <br />UPDATES FROM COMMISSION <br />Dunlap asked if the new dollar values could apply to the last landmarking case, but he <br />realized he might be wrong about the timing. <br />Selvoski replied that the new values were in effect and the only ones that the new <br />amounts would not apply to would be previously landmarked properties. <br />Dickinson informed the Commission that the interior of his home, the Old Louisville <br />Hospital, was almost complete. There was a lot of exterior work still to be done. <br />DISCUSSION ITEMS FOR NEXT MEETINGS <br />Haley stated that there would be ongoing amendments as needed and there would be <br />ongoing outreach efforts, as well. <br />Adjourn: <br />Thomas moved to adjourn.
