Local Licensing Authority <br />Meeting Date: May 24, 2000 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />stated that the cashier's check was to settle their 1999 sales tax debt but that the letter submitted to <br />the Authority by Finance Director Dianne Ray indicated that they are now in arrears for part of 2000. <br />Bolte continued that the applicants have indicated their tax payments are current and will provide a <br />letter to this fact prior to their public hearing. Member Turner stated that he felt the sales tax issue an <br />important one and would want confirmation of compliance at or prior to the public hearing. City <br />Attorney Sam Light stated that the fiscal responsibility of the applicant is a proper topic for <br />discussion at the public hearing. <br /> <br />Chairperson Myers motioned to set the Boundaries of the Neighborhood for the application as the <br />city limits of Louisville, CO. Turner seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote: Lipton - yes, Kimmett - <br />yes, Myers - yes, Turner - yes. All members were in favor. The motion passed. <br /> <br />Member Kimmett motioned to set the public hearing date for the next regularly scheduled meeting on <br />June 26, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber on the 2nd floor of the City Hall building located <br />at 749 Main Street, Louisville, CO. Lipton seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote: Lipton - yes, <br />Turner - yes, Myers - yes, ~mmett - yes. All members were in favOr. The motion passed. <br /> <br />AUTHORITY COMMENTS <br /> <br />Chairperson Myers called for any Authority comments. <br /> <br />Member Kimmett asked if Holly & Mike's Ribs, Inc. was still in business. Authority Secretary Varra <br />stated that they are still in business but not serving alcoholic beverages. Secretary Varra continued <br />that they have been advised by hand service of a letter drafted by Authority Attorney Kelly of the <br />laws and regulations surrounding the denial of their transfer application. Additionally, Secretary <br />Varra stated that Sergeant Jerry Riggins indicated to her that he would be making a site visit this <br />week. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Member Turner motioned to adjourn seconded by Lipton.
