Posted in City Hall, Public Library, <br />Recreation Center, and the Courts and Police Building and mailed to surrounding property <br />owners and property posted on August 17, 2016. <br />Staff Report of Facts and Issues: <br />Zuccaro presented from Power Point: <br />BACKGROUND <br />Property located on SE corner of Dillon Road and McCaslin Blvd <br />In 2015, PUD approved 12,772 SF Multi -tenant retail redevelopment <br />The applicant completed the water main realignment in the Spring of 2016 and took the water <br />main in the easement to be vacated off line, allowing the easement vacation to now take place. <br />An easement for the new water main location was recorded on August 17, 2016. No other <br />known utilities are located in the easement to be vacated. Although there are no specific criteria <br />for vacation of easements, as long as adequate easements are provided for a development, <br />unused easements may be vacated at the discretion of City Council. The Commission is being <br />asked to make a recommendation on the easement vacation prior to submittal of the request to <br />City Council. <br />
