Do Renewal Application- Trinh, Inc., d/b/a Tu Lien's Restaurant- Hotel & Restaurant Liquor License - 808 Main Street. mo Renewal Application - Clover Clan LLC d/b/a Old Louisville Inn - Hotel & Restaurant Liquor License - 740 Front Street. Deputy City Clerk Bolte stated that the communiqu6s for the renewal applications all noted that police reports, if any, would be available at the December 18 meeting. She continued that Tom Bock had been able to run a check of the establishments on the consent agenda, and that there were no incidents to report. Vice Chairperson Lipton noted that the date for filing the last annual corporate report was missing from the renewal applications for both Brass Monkey Wine & Spirits and Old Louisville Inn. Deputy City Clerk Bolte stated that the licensees would be contacted for the appropriate information. Member Kimmett moved that the Consent Agenda be approved contingent upon correction by the applicants of noted deficiencies. Member Jeffers seconded the motion. All members were in favor, the motion carried. AUTHORITY BUSINESS mo Show Cause Hearing - Holly & Mike's Ribs, Inc., clPo/a Hickory Sticks Smokehouse & Grill - Hotel & Restaurant Liquor License - 1000 S. Boulder Road. Special Prosecutor Steve Barnett addressed the members with a preliminary matter concerning a conversation with the licensee's attorney, Kevin V. Moore. Attorney Barnett stated that Mr. Moore had contacted him by phone that afternoon and requested a continuance of this heating. Mr. Moore stated that he had assumed once payment of all owed sales tax was remitted to Colorado Department of Revenue agent Douglas Kowalis, the Authority would vacate the matter. Additionally, Attorney Moore stated that his schedule would not permit him to be present at the November 27, 2000 heating. Attorney Barnett stated to the Authority that he did not agree to Attorney Moore's request for a continuance, citing that notification of the public hearing had been served via certified mail to both the licensees and Mr. Moore well within the time required by state law. Licensee and partner of Hickory Sticks, Michael G. Davis addressed the members of the Authority and asked that the hearing be continued as requested by their attorney, stating that he and co-owner Holly Ortiz were not prepared or comfortable with legally representing themselves.
