BEFORE THE BUILDING CODE BOARD OF APPEALS, CITY OF LOUISVILLE, <br />COUNTY OF BOULDER, STATE OF COLORADO <br />ORDER GRANTING CONTINUANCE WITH CONDITIONS <br />IN THE MATTER OF: <br />Severy Creek Roofing, Inc., Steve Louden, Licensee <br />102 S. Tejon St #1100 <br />Colorado Springs, CO 80903 <br />License No. LSVL-001704-2018 <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Steve Louden and Severy Creek Roofing, Inc., hereinafter referred to <br />collectively as "Licensee," was ordered to appear before the Louisville Building Code Board of <br />Appeals (the "Board") on the 23day of July, 2020, at 7:00 p.m., to show cause as to why <br />Licensee's license, as described above, should not be suspended or revoked; and <br />WHEREAS, Licensee received notice of the hearing on June 26, 2020 at approximately <br />11:59 a.m.; and <br />WHEREAS, Licensee contacted the Louisville Building Department less than a week <br />before the hearing scheduled for July 23, 2020 seeking a postponement of the hearing, stating <br />that he would be in South Dakota and unavailable to attend the hearing on the scheduled date; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, after the Licensee stated that he would be represented by an attorney in the <br />matter, the Board's attorney requested the Licensee's attorney's name and contact information <br />for future communications regarding the matter; and <br />WHEREAS, the Licensee failed to provide the Licensee's attorney's name and contact <br />information; and <br />WHEREAS, a quorum of the Board opened the hearing on July 23, 2020, at <br />approximately 7:00 p.m.; and <br />WHEREAS, the Licensee was not present at the hearing; and <br />WHEREAS, after discussion and deliberation, the Board determined that the <br />continuance should be granted on the condition that the Licensee may not obtain new permits <br />from the Louisville Building Department until the continued hearing date, at which it will be <br />
