Louisville Local Licensing Authority <br />Meeting Date: June 25, 2001 <br /> <br />Attorney Harrington stated that the Corporate Report of Changes for the American Legion had a <br />few minor items missing. The individual history records for Leroy Lorenzi and John Garcia were <br />missing the state of issuance for their driver's licenses. Harrington also stated that the signature of <br />the Vice President on the Manager Registration application for Noodles & Company was in the <br />wrong signature block. Deputy City Clerk Bolte stated that the items would be corrected. <br /> <br />Chairperson Lipton asked about the incident reports that were distributed to all members just prior <br />to the meeting. Deputy City Clerk Bolte stated that the reports were not received in time to be <br />included in the member packets. Bolte stated that the reports were for the licensees that fried <br />renewal applications as contained in the consent agenda. Members briefly reviewed the reports and <br />noted that several of the incident reports had not previously been provided to the Authority for <br />review. Specifically noted were incident reports on Outback Steakhouse and Barn Store #21. <br /> <br />Chairperson Lipton moved to approve the Consent Agenda contingent on receiving favorable <br />individual history reports and correction of the noted items. Member Kfmmett seconded the <br />motion. All members were in favor, motion carried. <br /> <br />VI. AUTHORITY BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. Show Cause Hearing - Gentleman Jim's, Inc., d/b/a Gentleman Jim's Bar & Grill - <br /> Hotel & Restaurant Liquor License - 330 S. McCaslln Blvd. <br /> <br />Lipton stated for the record that she is Chairperson of the City of Louisville Local Licensing <br />Authority and that this hearing is to show cause xvhy the liquor license held by Gentleman Jim's, <br />Inc., d/b/a Gentleman Jim's Bar and Grill, should not be suspended or revoked for alleged <br />violations of one or more provisions of the Colorado Liquor Code and Liquor Code Regulations <br />and the Louisville Municipal Code. <br /> <br />Chairperson Lipton continued that the purpose of this hearing is to receive evidence to enable the <br />Authority to make findings and reach a conclusion as to whether there is sufficient evidence proving <br />the Licensee violated one or more of the laws and regulations specified in the Shoxv Cause Order, <br />and if so, whether revocation or suspension of the Licensee's license is appropriate. <br /> <br />Chairperson Lipton stated that the order of the hearing would be, a.) Opening Statements by the <br />City and the Licensee, b.) Presentation of evidence by the City, followed by cross examination by the <br />Licensee, c.) Presentation of evidence by the Licensee, followed by cross examination by the City, d.) <br />Rebuttal Evidence by the City and Licensee, if any, and e.) Closing statements by the City and the <br />Licensee. <br /> <br />Chairperson Lipton stated that the hearing xvas being recorded. Anyone xvishing to address the <br />Authority must speak clearly into the microphone and identify hhnself or herself by name and <br />address. All testimony will be given under oath. Exhibits will be fzrst marked by the Secretary and <br />then identified before offering them for admission. A record will be kept of exhibits admitted and <br />rejected. <br /> <br /> <br />
