They are NOT visible enough in low light. The bike lane ends abruptly, without warning. A safe crossing is a beautiful crossing. Screen Name Redacted I vote for removing the concrete mess that was put in the middle of the street and go back to some white lines. You know... crosswalks. Screen Name Redacted Bright and flashy to slow down vehicles. Add drought tolerant low growing ground covers where ever possible and attempt to provide year round visual interest. Stop chopping down various planting along medians unless it is a safety issue for everyone. Screen Name Redacted I was going to advocate for a naive plant theme at each crossing/intersection. Maybe that could be done in stamped concrete. At least I think there should be a theme at each crossing. They are very dangerous 8/08/2020 05:56 PM especially to people on bikes. They unnecessarily narrow the lanes and force bikers to merge with traffic that is going much faster. It also pushes the opposite lanes of traffic close. Screen Name Redacted Take them out. These new "safety curbs" pose a serious threat to bicyclists like myself who ride the streets. They are obstacles that sit squarely in bike lanes and which force cyclists into traffic lanes with no warning.
