Share your ideas! : Survey Report for 01 March 2017 to 09 September 2020
stripes btw
Screen Name Redacted A community involvement idea might be to have children's footprints in
different colors near the school crossings. It could be colorful, yet also
encourage traffic flow coming and going. Walking one way on the left, the
other on the right, etc.
Screen Name Redacted Use something to reflect each area. Low water plants
Screen Name Redacted Footprints of dinosaurs and other critters from Colorado's past and present
8/22/2020 12:04 PM
Screen Name Redacted I would just like them to be safe for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers. And I
would like it to be clear it is a crosswalk. And it would be great if the
crosswalk lines could be painted across Pine St. (like at the Polk intersection)
Screen Name Redacted 1) Pollinator gardens! 2) Art that is white, light in color to help combat global
8/22/2020 02:43 PM warming and urban heat island effect
Screen Name Redacted Put them at the corners not offset from the intersections. Now cars and
8/22/2020 03:18 PM bicyclists don't know where to expect the next crosswalk and loss of bike lane
Screen Name Redacted if they can go up, sculpture by local artists or kinetic sculpture that moves.
8/22/2020 04:46 PM
Screen Name Redacted I think it would be fun to have those signs that have arrows pointing in
8/22/2020 05:19 PM different directions showing how far some place is. Like: Chicago (pointing
NE) xxxmiles. During COVID many of us are missing our hometowns and
traveling. It should be colorful.
Screen Name Redacted It would be fun to decorate the pavement. Instead of the typical white lines
8/22/2020 05:20 PM that we have now, we could add colorful artwork to make the area more
approachable and fun!
Screen Name Redacted PLEASE, whatever you decide on, make them safer. The blockages of left
8/23/2020 08:45 AM lanes on Cherry are accidents waiting to happen. Residents will eventually
get used to them, but visitors (etc.) are apt to be very surprised at the abrupt
ending of left lane!
Screen Name Redacted We are all for beautiful and safe crosswalks. BUT, the recent additions of
8/23/2020 11:52 AM those concrete sections right at some of the crosswalks, e.g., on Hoover, on
W Pine right around the turning corner before Johnson Ave., & on W Cherry
before Park are ALL UN -safe!
Screen Name Redacted Flowers that are low to the ground, higher grasses will obstruct vision for both
8/23/2020 06:39 PM pedestrians, AND cars. There are a few crosswalks in Boulder where you
cannot see the bikes coming due to tall grasses. Make it easy for BOTH
bikes AND cars to see each other
