He suggested reviewing how this could better align with the <br />impact of the successful, active BAPs rather than all funds offered. <br />Director Pierce said these indicators could be considered in context to the <br />Economic Vitality Strategic Plan and more may need to be developed to help <br />measure the success of those strategic goals, which are separate from the <br />Economic Prosperity Program. <br />IX. Staff Updates: Director Pierce noted the success of an art installation and <br />community art program in the Main Street Outdoor Dining closure. Mayor <br />Stolzmann informed the Committee that she would raise the Downtown <br />Business Association's request for extending the closure at the August 18 City <br />Council meeting. She suggested that Council address the near -term extension <br />but that study of a permanent closure would need to be agreed -to for <br />incorporation in the Council's Work Plan. <br />X. Current Articles: None. <br />XI. Next Meeting: The next regular meeting will be September 18, 2020 @ 1:30 <br />PM. The Economic Vitality Committee will also conduct a special meeting on <br />Friday, August 21 @ 1:30 PM to brainstorm on the Economic Vitality Strategic <br />Plan. <br />XII.
