RESOLUTION NO. 12 <br />SERIES 2020 <br />A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A DRAFT ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING TITLE 17 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE TO ESTABLISH A <br />MOBILE FOOD COURT USE GROUP AND CRITERIA FOR CONSIDERATION OF <br />MOBILE FOOD COURTS AS A SPECIAL REVIEW USE IN SPECIFIED ZONE <br />DISTRICTS <br />WHEREAS, the popularity of food trucks, food carts and mobile retail food <br />establishments have increased significantly in recent years; and <br />WHEREAS, the zoning ordinances within the Louisville Municipal Code (LMC) <br />allow mobile retail food establishments, mobile food vehicles, mobile vending carts, and <br />ice cream vendors subject to certain regulations; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission desires to amend certain provisions of the <br />LMC to allow mobile food courts; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the application at a duly <br />noticed public hearing on October 8, 2020, where evidence and testimony were entered <br />into the record, including the findings in the Louisville Planning Commission Staff Report <br />dated October 8, 2020. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Louisville, Colorado does hereby recommend approval of a request to amend Title 17 of <br />the Louisville Municipal Code to a establish mobile food court use group and criteria for <br />consideration of mobile food courts as a special review use in specified zone districts. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8t" day of October, 2020. <br />Attest: <br />Debra Williams, Secretary <br />Planning Commission <br />Steve Brauneis, Chairperson <br />Planning Commission <br />13 <br />
