Louisville Local Licensing Authority <br />Meeting Date: July 30, 2001 <br /> <br />Authority Attorney Harrington stated that Deputy City Clerk Bolte changed paragraph three to <br />reflect a three month period instead of a twelve month period and that Mr. Hayden had signed the <br />amended agreement. <br /> <br />Member Sacked moved to accept the amended Stipulation and Agreement for Gentleman Jim's, <br />Inc., d/b/a Gentleman Jim's Bar & Grill. Member Kimmett seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote: <br />Kimmett - yes, Koertje - yes, Sackett - yes. All members were in favor, motion carried. <br /> <br />Modification of Premises - Blue Parrot Card - Hotel & Restaurant Liquor License - <br />640 Main Street. <br /> <br />Joan Riggins, licensee of the Blue Parrot Card came forward and stated her name for the record. <br />Member Kimmett asked Ms. Riggins about an entrance at the rear of the restaurant. Ms. Riggins <br />stated it was a handicapped ramp entrance required to meet ADA requirements and that there is also <br />a stairway inside the restaurant to access the banquet area. Vice Chairperson Koertje asked if there <br />was also a patio area in the back. Ms. Riggins stated it was just the ramp. <br /> <br />Member Kimmett asked Ms. Riggins where the two mobile bar carts would be stationed. Ms. <br />Riggins stated that it would depend on the banquet size and needs. Ms. Riggins stated that the carts <br />would always be staffed and would be locked up when not in use. <br /> <br />Member Kimmett asked if there would be any cooking in the banquet area. Ms. Riggins stated that <br />only serving and dishwashing would be done downstairs in the banquet area. <br /> <br />Member Sackett moved to approve the application for modification of premises for Blue Parrot <br />Caf& Member I~mmett seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote: Sackett - yes, Koertje - yes, <br />I~mmett - yes. All members were in favor, motion carried. <br /> <br />Corporate Report of Changes - American Legion Post No. 0111, d/b/a American <br />Legion Walter Rhodes Post No. 111 - Club Liquor License - 1130 Pine Streetl <br /> <br />Deputy City Clerk Bolte stated that the agent of record, Bob Ross, has been out of town and has not <br />been contacted regarding the findings of the Individual History reports. <br /> <br />Attorney Harrington stated that although the report of change is typically for informational <br />purposes only, it is acceptable for the Authority to require that the officers be of good moral <br />character. Attorney Harrington stated that the troublesome facts are not simply that there are <br />criminal convictions, but rather that the convictions were not disclosed on the individual history <br />forms. <br /> <br />Attorney Harrington stated that the Authority has a few options available regarding this matter. She <br />stated that they could take no action, and that no action was required, but if the Authority is <br />concerned, they could opt to set a hearing on the matter, or to table it to the next regular meeting to <br />allow Deputy City Clerk Bolte to discuss the problem with Bob Ross. <br /> <br />Member Sackett moved to table the Corporate Report of Changes for the American Legion to the <br />next regularly scheduled meeting August 27, 2001. Member Kimmett seconded the motion. Roll <br />Call Vote: I~mmett - yes, Koertje - yes, Sackett - yes.
