Our continuing commitment to the delivery <br />of basic services to the residents of Louisville, while maintaining the City's fiscally sound policies, <br />is reflected in this budget. <br />Overview <br />Property Taxes: <br />The 1999 assessed valuation of property in Louisville is $292,871,280, an increase of 17.3% over <br />the 1998 assessed valuation. This will generate $1,359,687 in property tax revenue for 2000. The total <br />valuation of development in 2000 is projected at $51,248,714, with about 13% in retail.
