Recreation Advisory Board <br />Minutes <br />September 28, 2020 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />Recreational and Senior Center Updates <br />Kathy Martin reported that new catalogues are in place, and that there will be <br />expanded hours and non -reserved admission for much of the Recreation Center. <br />There also will be expanded available facilities. Michele Van Pelt stressed the <br />importance of increasing the early, late and weekend hours as the weather grows <br />colder. <br />Golf Course Update <br />David Baril reported record months of revenue and rounds in May, June, July <br />and August, with September projected to exceed the budget. His focus is to <br />retain all of the golfers. There is still an ongoing challenge to hiring sufficient <br />seasonal maintenance employees. <br />He added that the new high school developmental league has started <br />successfully with all 32 slots filled and others eager to participate. <br />An RFP will go out in October to run The Sweet Spot. <br />Nathan Mosely is working to get the FEMA flood reimbursements closed out. <br />Redtail Ridge Update <br />Nathan Mosely reported that the developer has not resubmitted yet. <br />Board Update <br />There are three Board member terms expiring and one vacancy. <br />Discussion Items for Next Meeting <br />• Recreation and Senior Center updates and 2021 budget <br />• Golf Course updates, 2021 budget and strategic plan <br />• Department updates <br />• Board updates <br />• Redtail Ridge report, if applicable <br />Adjourn — The meeting was adjourned at 7:33. <br />Motion: Norgard <br />Second: Bradfield <br />
