Revenue Summary <br />are using less than the "allotted" amount of water <br />resources for its designated tap size and heavily <br />penalizes those accounts that are using more than <br />the "allotted" amount of resources. The City <br />discontinued its mandatory watering restrictions in <br />2003 and revenues for water charges are increased <br />significantly. The projections for water charges in <br />2004 are based on no mandatory watering <br />restrictions. Sewer rates remain unchanged for <br />2004. <br />Other Charges for Services - In addition <br />to the water and sewer user fees, the City also <br />collects fees for golf and recreation programs. <br />Total charges for services, including water and <br />sewer charges are budgeted at $10,310,930 for <br />2004. <br />Intergovernmental <br />Intergovernmental revenues are those revenues <br />that are received from other governmental entities <br />such as the State of Colorado and Boulder <br />County. These revenues include highway user tax <br />revenues, lottery proceeds, motor vehicle <br />registrations, grants and revenues from specific <br />intergovernmental agreements. Total <br />intergovernmental revenues budgeted for 2004 are <br />$1,565,064. <br />Licenses and Permits <br />Licenses and permit revenues are those revenues <br />that are derived from the issuance of various <br />licenses and permits required to do business in the <br />City. Some of the primary licenses and permits <br />issued include construction permits, sales tax <br />licenses, business registration licenses, burial <br />permits, etc. Licenses and permits are budgeted at <br />$601,988 for 2004. <br />1.1•1111.
