Sustainability Advisory Board <br />Agenda <br />September 16, 2020 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />6. 6:45PM LSAB Member Updates and Reports (5 <br />minutes, more as needed) <br />-Melanie must resign, having moved to Lafayette. <br />-2 new LSAB members will be selected and onboarded in Dec, <br />before Jan meeting. <br />- Dan met with Historic Preservation Commission and made <br />mention of house move last week from Lincoln to LaFarge. <br />7. 6:50 PM City Staff Update (10 Minutes) <br />*See meeting packet. <br />-Single use recyclable/compostable TOGO container pilot being <br />discussed for future (more in December). Great education <br />opportunity -Tiffany. <br />-Dates/ movies selected for sustainability film series. <br />-City integrating sustainability into employee orientation. <br />8. Discussion Item: Energy Future Collaboration 2021 Work Plan <br />-November 9 meeting to develop plan for 2021. <br />Phase 2 Renewable Connect not removed, but not back until 2022. <br />-Laura-Put 100% renewable into city budget? Council decided not <br />to pursue via the general fund for—$630k. <br />-Climate Action Tax discussion. LSAB can reach out to council <br />liaison to get ahead and make sure it gets on council work plan. <br />LSAB could put together ideas/suggestions for the best possible <br />solution. Lit review will be part of due diligence process. <br />-Tiffany requested agenda item to prepare talking points for Excel <br />and liaison meetings. *use community wide citizen survey. <br />2 <br />
