Contact Economic Vitality Director Megan Pierce if you have <br />questions about whether your project will meet program <br />criteria: mpierce(b_Iouisvilleco.gov or 303.335.4531. <br />Waiver of Permitting Requirements for Temporary <br />Commercial Signage Extended <br />In June, the City announced that it was waiving permitting requirements for <br />all temporary commercial signage. This allowed businesses to install new or <br />additional temporary signs to proactively communicate with customers about <br />changes in services, hours of operations, or public health requirements. The <br />waiver applied only to temporary signs and was in place through October 31, <br />2020. <br />This waiver will now be extended through the recovery period from the <br />COVID-19 pandemic. Temporary signs do not require a permit and are not <br />limited to typical timeframes and sizes. An announcement will be made one <br />month prior to resuming normal temporary signage requirements and <br />enforcement so that businesses can become compliant at that time. <br />The City will not enforce the normal temporary sign requirements, unless <br />Agenda Packet P. 23 <br />
