Recreation Advisory Board Minutes October 26, 2020 Page 2 of 3 Recreational and Senior Center Updates Kathy Martin reported that participation in Recreation Center activities has held steady. She added that hours will continue to expand, hopefully including Sundays starting November 29t", as well as New Year's Day. To entice membership, there will be Black Friday pass deals offered. The dashboard was reviewed. It was noted that deficiencies are likely to be made up by City Council transfers of funds and possibly by cuts to the capital fund. Golf Course Update David Baril presented the Golf Course dashboard, which continues to be positive. Fee changes for 2021 were proposed and analyzed. A motion was made to support the proposed fee changes. It passed unanimously. Motion: Bradfield Second: Van Pelt Rich Bradfield emphasized the need to plan for 2022, or post -virus in general, to keep the golfers that have made this year so successful. David Baril gave some preliminary thoughts on the subject. Marketing Update Ginger Cross presented plans for membership drives affecting the Recreation Center and the Golf Course. She suggested the development of a Golf Course calendar to reward various membership levels there. She added that the Community Update would be used to enhance awareness of what is happening at the Recreation Center and when, for the period of December through February. She added that this would likely be accompanied by a QR code that could be scanned for additional information. Rich Bradford suggested adding details of the safety measures being taken regarding air flow in the indoor facility. Redtail Ridge Update Nathan Mosely reported that the developer is working on a plan that is in compliance with current Conoco -Philips land usage. He will look into how this might change the quasi-judicial body status of the Recreation Advisory Board. Board Updates
