<br />Louisville Local Licensing Authority <br />Meeting Date: February 23, 2004 <br />Page 5 of 6 <br /> <br />Detective Gordanier requested she follow through with her investigation as well as <br />staying in contact with the state and proceed after her report. The Authority consensus <br />was to table this item until a later date. <br /> <br />There was discussion on the Report of Changes (Item J on the Consent Agenda that <br />was moved to Authority Business). The Authority Attorney had asked for an additional <br />document to complete this change and the secretary has not received it to date. The <br />Authority decided to continue this to the next meeting. <br /> <br />D. Transfer Application - Gentleman Jim's Transfer to The Back Room Brewery, <br />Inc. d/b/a The Back Room - Hotel and Restaurant License - 330 S. McCaslin <br />Blvd. <br /> <br />Authority Secretary Hanson introduced Tom Newman, owner of The Back Room <br />Brewery, Inc. The Authority asked several questions of Mr. Newman concerning food <br />service and plans for the transfer. Member Wilson commented that the application <br />looked in order. Mulvahill asked if the fingerprint report had come back from the State <br />yet. The answer was no, but it has been submitted. <br /> <br />Paige moved the Authority approve the transfer of the liquor license for Gentleman <br />Jim's to The Back Room contingent upon the fingerprint report coming back from the <br />State with no criminal history. Wilson seconded. Roll Call Vote: Koertje - yes, Paige - <br />yes, Mulvahill-yes and Wilson-yes. <br /> <br />E. Report of Changes - Modification of Premises - LSL, LLC d/b/a Melting Pot <br />Restaurant - 732 Main St. <br /> <br />Chairperson Koertje asked if this was something that was supposed to be filed before <br />the construction was started. The answer was yes. The City Clerk's office had <br />contacted the owner to file the report of changes. <br /> <br />Discussion centered on whether or not there was a need for the owner to come in and <br />speak to the Authority. <br /> <br />Paige moved the Authority table this item until the next meeting and have the owner or <br />partner appear and justify the modification of premises. Koertje seconded. Koertje- <br />yes, Paige - yes, Mulvahill -yes and Wilson-no. <br /> <br />F. New Liquor License Application - Pasta Antica Roma, Inc. d/b/a Pane E Vino <br />- Hotel and Restaurant License - 321 S. McCaslin Blvd. Unit "A" <br /> <br />The question was asked if there was a standard rule for establishing the boundaries for <br />a new liquor license application.
