On the positive side, a Drive -by Santa is anticipated. Positive as well, the <br />sale of about 170 Thanksgiving lunches. The overall food program received <br />multiple compliments from the Board. <br />Nathan Mosely added that the Recreation Center revenue targets for <br />September and October were exceeded. Future revenue obviously is difficult to <br />predict, as it is highly dependent on the virus. He added that several parts of the <br />C.I.P. for the Recreation and Senior Center were approved and included in the <br />2021-2022 budget. <br />Golf Course Update <br />Nathan Mosely noted that golf course finances continued to be very good, <br />with revenue over $200,000 over budget and expenses below budget, despite <br />slightly higher staffing costs. As with the Recreation and Senior Center, the <br />2021-22 budget was approved. It includes provision for additional full-time <br />maintenance staff, a cold storage building and upgrades to the main -line <br />irrigation system. <br />Marketing Update <br />Ginger Cross stated that she is finishing the December catalogue. <br />Redtail Ridge Update <br />Nathan Mosely noted that there were no changes from his report at the last <br />RAB meeting. As noted in the previous minutes, he will look into how this new <br />proposal, if within existing guidelines for the property, might change the quasi- <br />judicial body status of the Recreation Advisory Board. Deb Fahey noted that the <br />Planning Board is still quasi -judiciary. Gene Kutscher agreed, but noted the <br />differences in weight of the recommendations of the Planning Board and the <br />RAB. <br />Board Updates <br />Deb Fahey reported that there will be four candidates recommended for <br />appointment to the RAB to fill the three expiring Board members positions and <br />one vacancy. <br />Nathan Mosely reported that there were four interested parties and two formal <br />responses to the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Golf Course food and <br />beverage operation. Interviews were conducted, with Lisa Norgard and Michele <br />Van Pelt participating in the process. A successful candidate was selected and <br />will be proposed to the City Council for approval.
