<br />Louisville Local Licensing Authority <br />Meeting Date: July 26, 2004 <br />Page 3 of 6 <br /> <br />Ms. Kaiser questioned Mr. Villasenor-Lopez about his shares in the corporation, hours <br />of operation and number of employees. He was asked about the servers attending <br />liquor training. Mr. Villasenor-Lopez stated most of the servers have already attended <br />training and he has attended many times. <br /> <br />Mr. Villasenor-Lopez gave a brief history of the company and his participation. He was <br />asked if any liquor violations had been filed against him. He answered no. He reported <br />he does have a lease on the property. Mr. Villasenor-Lopez answered questions about <br />finances. <br /> <br />Members of the Authority asked further questions about server training and liquor <br />violations. Attorney Light clarified 3 Margaritas has possession of the premises. <br /> <br />Tina Scott, a representative of Oedipus, Inc. was introduced and given the oath. She <br />reported on the needs and desires survey conducted by Oedipus, Inc. Businesses and <br />residences in Louisville were surveyed. She reported on the way the survey was <br />performed, and the results of the survey were in favor of 3 Margaritas. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Mulvahill the petition/survey conducted by Oedipus, Inc. be <br />included as part of the record of this public hearing. Lipton seconded. All in favor. <br /> <br />Lipton called for anyone wishing to speak for or against this application. <br /> <br />Lipton closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Mulvahill moved that the Local Licensing Authority of the City of Louisville find that the <br />applicant is of good moral character, that the inhabitants of the neighborhood desire the <br />license be granted, that the license will meet the reasonable requirements of the <br />neighborhood, that all City an'd State law requirements have been met and that, based <br />on these findings, the Local Licensing Authority approve issuance of a hotel and <br />restaurant license for 3 Margaritas XVI, Inc. d/b/a 3 Margaritas XVI. Wilson seconded. <br />Roll Call Vote: Koertje-yes, Mulvahill-yes, Wilson-yes, Lipton-yes and Rommelfanger- <br />yes. Motion adopted. <br /> <br />Chairman Koertje conducted the meeting from this point on. <br /> <br />B. Transfer of Retail Store Liquor License - Addis Enterprise, Inc. d/b/a <br />Louisville Discount Liquor - 1140 Pine St. #1 <br /> <br />Chairperson Koertje called for applicant presentation concerning this transfer. <br /> <br />Kris Hoeltgen, attorney for the owner, introduced herself and Aster Kidane, owner of <br />Louisville Discount Liquor. Ms. Hoeltgen commented the store is doing well since Ms. <br />Kidane has been operatin~ on the temporary license. Ms. Kidane stated she will attend <br />liquor training on August 5 h.
