RESOLUTION NO.4 <br />SERIES 2021 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TEMPORARY WAIVER OF CERTAIN LIQUOR <br />LICENSE FEES <br />WHEREAS, the Novel Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic and the ongoing public <br />health emergency have caused widespread human and economic impacts to the City of <br />Louisville; and <br />WHEREAS, small businesses that have been subject to mandatory capacity restrictions <br />have experienced significant declines in revenue and are among those most impacted by the <br />ongoing pandemic; and <br />WHEREAS, the City's small businesses significantly contribute to the overall fabric of <br />the City's economy and the health, welfare, and enjoyment of its residents; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council believes it is important to take actions intended to help its <br />residents and businesses with the impacts of COVID-19; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Senate Bill 20B-001, the Colorado General Assembly waived <br />the State -imposed liquor license fees paid by certain of the most severely impacted liquor license <br />applicants for a 12-month period starting December 7, 2020; and <br />WHEREAS, City Council finds that it should lessen the financial burden of such <br />businesses by similarly waiving the City -imposed fees for the same class of liquor licenses as are <br />waived by the State pursuant to Senate Bill 20B-001. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />Section 1. The City Council hereby waives the City -imposed license fees, application <br />fees, renewal fees, and temporary COVID-19 modification of premises fees from January 1, 2021 to <br />December 31, 2021 for the following license types: <br />a. Limited winery license issued pursuant to C.R.S. § 44-3-403 <br />b. Beer and wine license issued pursuant to C.R.S. § 44-3-411 <br />c. Hotel and restaurant license issued pursuant to C.R.S. § 44-3-413 <br />d. Tavern license issued pursuant to C.R.S. § 44-3-414 <br />e. Optional premises license issued pursuant to C.R.S. § 44-3-415 <br />f. Retail gaming tavern license issued pursuant to C.R.S. § 44-3-416 <br />g. Brew pub license issued pursuant to C.R.S. § 44-3-417 <br />h. Club license issued pursuant to C.R.S. § 44-3-418 <br />i. Arts license issued pursuant to C.R.S. § 44-3-419 <br />j.
