Talked with Coal Creek Ranch HOA president —We discussed how <br />composting is going what is working and what is not working. <br />vii. Let's use resources that we have. We have more power if we include <br />other municipalities. <br />B. Debbie Fahey— Sustainability changes to building code is in the works. This <br />will be part of the 2021 work plan. The ask is to find out what other <br />communities are doing on their building codes to help create guidelines. <br />C. Tiffany Boyd — Had a discussion with her council liaison Caleb Dickinson <br />i. Restore Colorado <br />ii. Rec Center and energy use <br />iii. Compostable packaging for downtown businesses <br />iv. Reusable To-Go's <br />v. One of his top proprietaries is sustainability <br />D. Dan Mellish —Talked with his Council liaison Kyle Brown <br />i. Rec Center <br />ii. Future Development — aim to put policy and code into the building <br />codes. <br />iii. Top priority — Full time position for Sustainability <br />iv. Relocation of the last ash pit in Louisville — maybe in the newsletter <br />historical section <br />E. Laura Leveque Catalano - Talked with his Council liaison Mayor Ashley <br />Stolzmann <br />i. Statewide pain on pesticides — People's pollinator is working on a bill <br />currently <br />ii. Be supportive of a statewide ban on single use plastics. <br />iii. Rec Center <br />iv. Green and sustainably building codes <br />v. Restore Colorado — Add 1% to Restaurant bill. Put into a fund to help <br />fund compost <br />7. 7:20 PM City Staff Update <br />A. sNOw More Waste contest kicking off on December 251n <br />B. Film Series continues to be popular and engaging <br />C. Charging station and building audits on hold — staff turnover <br />8.
