January 20, 1988
City Manager
Terry Hundley
749 Main Street
Louisville, CO 80027
Dear Terry Hundley;
Our Louisville A&W Family Restaurant will be opening
approximately March 1, 1988 with our Grand Opening
following in six weeks. At that time, (mid April),
we would like to request a variance to the Louisville
sign code that would allow us to erect a temporary
sign on Mr. Dick Bealla's property.
The sign would be located within Louisville city limits
on_the north side of Highway 36, east of the McCaslin
intersection. Mr. Bealla has given his permission,
once approval from the planning commission has been
obtained. The sign, once approved, would be produced
by a local sign company to meet general standards
set forth by the commission. We would like a sign
similar to those used by developers in the area.
We are requesting that you allow us to maintain the
sign there for no less than 120 days, and no longer
than 240 days, the end of 1988f If you have any questions,
please contact either Jodi Mossoni at 466-9841, or
myself at 666-0973.
As I'm sure you know, making people aware of a new
business can be crucial to it's success. We hope
that by making the traffic on Highway 36 aware of
our existance will not only help us, but also Louisville
by bringing more business within it's city limits.
We greatly appreciate your help in this matter.
Sincerely,
Mark L. Mossoni
