CALL TO ORDER <br />Vice -Chairman Ross called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />2. BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT ITEMS <br />A. CITY OF LOUISVILLE GOLF COURSE <br />APPLICANT'S PRESENTATION: <br />Gene Jicinsky, project manager, for the City of Louisville. <br />Jicinsky stated that the designated site for the City of <br />Louisville golf course maintenance facility is located within the <br />flood storage district of the flood regulatory district as <br />delineated on maps and profiles for the one hundred -year <br />floodplain limits of Coal Creek. The site is located on the <br />northern fringe of the floodplain in a portion of the district in <br />which flows are characteristically of shallow depths and low <br />velocities. We are required by ordinance to get a variance from <br />the board to place this in the floodplain. The roadway elevation <br />will be higher than the floodplain. We request that the special <br />exception permit be granted for the golf course maintenance <br />facility as indicated on the site plan. <br />STAFF PRESENTATION: <br />Ewan stated that all electrical will be placed above as per code. <br />The applicant has met all requirements by code in order to do <br />this. <br />BOARD COMMENTS: <br />None. <br />MOTION WAS MADE BY SMITH TO ACCEPT THE VARIANCE FOR THE CITY OF <br />
