Revitalization Commission <br />Minutes <br />January 13, 2021 <br />Page 2 of 9 <br />Approval of December 9, 2020 Meeting Minutes: <br />Commissioner Tofte made a motion to approve the minutes. Commissioner Adler <br />seconded. Roll call vote: <br />Commissioner Tofte - yes <br />Commissioner Adler - yes <br />Commissioner Gambale - yes <br />Council member Leh - yes <br />Commissioner Gorsevski - yes <br />Commissioner Williams - yes <br />Commissioner Smith - yes <br />Motion passes <br />Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: <br />None. <br />Reports of Commission: <br />Director Pierce introduced new Revitalization Commission members Graham Smith <br />and Corrie Williams. She also noted that Attorney Nick Cotton -Baez from Kelly PC will <br />be attending LRC meetings for legal representation and guidance. <br />Director Pierce provided two items of interest: <br />Village Square shopping center is for sale and under contract. Walgreen's building is <br />also for sale. There is separate ownership of these properties. <br />824 South Inc. was approved for a public infrastructure assistance agreement at a <br />previous LRC meeting. The agreement expired. They would like to come forward with <br />an amendment to extend the agreement. Project representatives have indicated there <br />are cost changes to the public improvements for which funds had been approved. <br />They will update a first amendment to the agreement for LRC to consider in February. <br />Council member Leh asked if we need a new, rather than amended, agreement. <br />Director Pierce said attorney Kathleen Kelly was comfortable with an amendment <br />since it is just timing and funding, not other substantial changes. Director Pierce said <br />824 South Inc. will have to provide proof of cost changes for LRC consideration. <br />Business Matters of Commission: <br />• 2021 Open Government and Ethics Pamphlet <br />Director Pierce said it is an annual requirement that staff include this pamphlet <br />at the first meeting of each year.
