Recreation Advisory Board <br />Minutes <br />January 25, 2021 <br />Page 3of3 <br />A discussion occurred regarding the hoped -for May first opening of Memory <br />Square Park and pool. City Council is planning to discuss the matter in February. <br />Marketing is examining what kinds of events can happen, with restrictions, to <br />enhance the experience for all. <br />Board Updates <br />Lisa Norgard briefly summarized the work plan for the Board. She highlighted <br />that in March the Board would examine possibilities for long term capital <br />improvements. <br />Nathan Mosely reported that the current Redtail Ridge proposal seems to <br />eliminate the likelihood of quasi-judicial decision making for the RAB, and <br />therefore Board members are free to conduct any activities of a normal citizen <br />with regard to that project. <br />Nathan Mosely and David Baril stated that there continued to be a small <br />amount of feedback from the City Council's appointment of the new Golf Course <br />food service provider.
