Revitalization Commission <br />Minutes <br />February 10, 2021 <br />Page 2 of 7 <br />Business Matters of Commission: <br />• Resolution 21-01: Approving a Cooperation Agreement Between the City <br />of Louisville and the Louisville Revitalization Commission Regarding <br />Funding for Public Art in the South Street Gateway <br />Director Pierce reviewed with the LRC that this item came before them in <br />December: the Louisville Cultural Council (LCC) has a capital improvement <br />project they lacked funding to complete. The agreement before the LRC today <br />states that the LRC will provide the funding for the project and the LCC will <br />carry out the project. The City will pay the artist and the LRC will reimburse the <br />City. This received approval from City Council on February 2, 2021. Approval of <br />the agreement today by the LRC would be final approval for the funding of the <br />project. <br />Motion to approve Resolution 21-01 was made by Commissioner Smith and <br />seconded by Commissioner Tofte. <br />Roll call vote: <br />Commissioner Smith - yes <br />Commissioner Tofte - yes <br />Chair Adler - yes <br />Commissioner Gambale - yes <br />Commissioner Gorsevski - yes <br />Council member Leh - yes <br />Commissioner Williams — yes <br />Motion approved. <br />• Resolution 21-02: Approving a Public Infrastructure Assistance <br />Agreement for Corvus Nidus LLC, The Rose & Raven at 511 East South <br />Boulder Road <br />Director Pierce said The Rose and Raven is redeveloping the property at 511 <br />East South Boulder Road to become a cidery and food hall. The project is <br />starting this year and the developer has sought financial assistance from the <br />LRC for lighting and streetscaping and water main replacement. The LRC has <br />been supportive of the project, which was forwarded to City Council for their <br />consideration on February 2, 2021. The agreement for assistance would be <br />between the LRC, the City and Corvus Nidus. City Council had no questions <br />and the agreement was unanimously approved.
