February 10, 2021 Minutes Continued: Citizen Comments Re: Redtail Ridge
From: Chandi Beck
Sent: Wednesday, February 10, 2021 7:12 AM
To: Ember Brignull
Subject: Red Tail Ridge
To Whom It May Concern:
I am gravely concerned as to how we will provide water, which is already really stretched thin, to such a huge campus
and meet its demands.
Also, there is no giant tax benefit to our schools or other needs because the Tabor Amendment messes so much with
the money that flows in and out for and from taxes to the locals of each town of Colorado. There is no benefit of
measure enough to justify this development.
The traffic increase is huge and impacting to all surrounding areas.
Is the site going to be self-sustaining? Alternative energy? Friendly to the wildlife? More grass, less concrete?
I think protecting our open space is vital, too. Once it is gone, it is forever missing.
I wholeheartedly oppose the proposed expansive development that is maximizing only growth of wallets for a tiny few
at the cost of resources and land.
Sincerely,
Chandi Beck
2257 Bristol St
Superior, CO. 80027
Sent from my iPhone
i
10 of 77
