y, <br />LL Lo"uiy�sville <br />COLORADO -SINCE 1878 <br />Economic Vitality Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Friday, March 19, 2021 <br />Regular Electronic Meeting <br />Call to Order: Councilmember Dickinson (Chair) called the electronic meeting <br />to order at 1:30 PM. <br />11. Roll Call: The following members of the City Council were present: <br />Councilmember Dickinson, Mayor Pro Tern Maloney, and Councilmember Leh. <br />Also present were City Manager Heather Balser, Economic Vitality Director <br />Megan Pierce, City Clerk Meredyth Muth, and six members of the public. <br />111. Approval of Agenda: Mayor Pro Tern Maloney made a motion to approve the <br />agenda with a proposed change of moving Agenda Item #7 in front of #6. <br />Motion was seconded by Councilmember Leh. Motion passed. <br />IV. Approval of Meeting Minutes: Councilmember Leh made a motion to approve <br />the meeting minutes of February 19, 2021; motion was seconded by Mayor Pro <br />Tern Maloney. Motion passed. <br />V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: <br />Mr. Mark Oberholzer, Vice President of the Downtown Business Association, <br />mentioned that the link in the packet for him did not allow him to access the <br />Zoom webinar. <br />VI. Discussion/Direction- Temporary Main Street Closure Plan for 2021: <br />Director Pierce noted that an updated packet item only relating to the Main <br />Street closure is included on the City Council meeting page, including both a <br />revised memo and map. <br />Director Pierce updated the group that the surveyed restaurants for the closure <br />program, with one exception, all stated they would be interested in a patio <br />parklet program if no closure occurred. She also stated that based on directives <br />from last meeting, discussions were conducted with public safety. She <br />explained some of the safety precautions discussed with the Fire Chief and that <br />a 14 foot emergency access lane is requested and what that could mean for <br />some of the restaurants and businesses along the proposed area of Main <br />Street.
