However, the size of the building also makes it a great <br />possibility for a commercial or public use. <br />She is actively looking for a parcel of land for the site and will contact Lafayette to <br />see if they may have ause/place for it. She also plans to talk to Markel Homes to <br />see if they may have a site in their North End development. <br />Lewis noted that the owner, Michael Schonbrun, will offer the building to any <br />takers for free and also may be willing to money above the demolition costs to <br />help have it moved, but he can't use it on his site. <br />She will continue to work on finding a new home for the building. <br />1024 LaFarge Avenue -stay expired 10/1/08 <br />Muth noted that the owners have submitted building plans to the City for new <br />home, so the existing structure is likely to come down once those plans are <br />approved. <br />Items from Commission Members <br />Tofte asked the Commission's thoughts on landmarking the Louisville Cemetery. <br />All were supportive of the idea. Tofte will mention this to the City Council at the <br />February 24 Study Session. <br />Stewart asked if the Commission had thought about charging demolition review <br />fees.
