ORDINANCE NO. 1282 SERIES 1998 AN ORDINANCE RENAMING A PORTION OF THE STREET KNOWN AS "DAHLIA STREET" LOCATED SOUTH OF DILLON ROAD TO "COAL CREEK CIRCLE". WHEREAS, the final subdivision plat for Centennial Valley Parcel H, Second Filing, City of Louisville, approved by City Council and recorded in the Boulder County real property records on September 22, 1995, as Reception No. 1549439, Film No. 2078, dedicated to the City right-of- way for a roadway south of Dillon Road and that roadway was designated as "Dahlia Street"; and WHEREAS, the final subdivision plat for Coal Creek Business Park, City of Louisville, approved by City Council and recorded on March 6, 1998, as Reception No. 1778758, dedicated an additional 0.18 acres as a southerly extension of such "Dahlia Street" right-of-way; and WHEREAS, said portions of "Dahlia Street" have been dedicated to the City for the public use; and WHEREAS, the existing designation of "Dahlia Street" for that portion of such roadway lying south of Dillon Road is not conducive to assigning clear and logical addresses to planned development in the area; and WHEREAS, addressing new development in such area based on this existing designation of "Dahlia Street" could be confusing and may jeopardize the health, safety and welfare of the community; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is necessary and desirable to rename that portion of "Dahlia Street" located south of Dillon Road to provide for the orderly designation of the street that will serve new development in this area, to enable particular buildings to be found as quickly and easily as possible and to provide for the health, safety and convenience of the community. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: Section 1. The public street known as "Dahlia Street" as designated on the plats of "Centennial Valley Parcel H, Second Filing", and "Coal Creek Business Park", and as designated on any other official, recorded document, and as located within the territorial boundaries of the City of Louisville, County of Boulder, State of Colorado, is hereby renamed as follows: (a) The portion of "Dahlia Street" running in a generally southerly direction from its intersection with "Dillon Road" and terminating at the limit of the dedicated public right-of-way as shown on the plats of"Centennial Valley Parcel H, Second Filing" and "Coal Creek Business Park", is hereby renamed, and shall hereafter be known as, "Coal Creek Circle".
