ORDINANCE NO. 1282 <br />SERIES 1998 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE RENAMING A PORTION OF THE STREET KNOWN AS "DAHLIA <br />STREET" LOCATED SOUTH OF DILLON ROAD TO "COAL CREEK CIRCLE". <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the final subdivision plat for Centennial Valley Parcel H, Second Filing, City <br />of Louisville, approved by City Council and recorded in the Boulder County real property records <br />on September 22, 1995, as Reception No. 1549439, Film No. 2078, dedicated to the City right-of- <br />way for a roadway south of Dillon Road and that roadway was designated as "Dahlia Street"; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the final subdivision plat for Coal Creek Business Park, City of Louisville, <br />approved by City Council and recorded on March 6, 1998, as Reception No. 1778758, dedicated an <br />additional 0.18 acres as a southerly extension of such "Dahlia Street" right-of-way; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said portions of "Dahlia Street" have been dedicated to the City for the public <br />use; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the existing designation of "Dahlia Street" for that portion of such roadway <br />lying south of Dillon Road is not conducive to assigning clear and logical addresses to planned <br />development in the area; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, addressing new development in such area based on this existing designation <br />of "Dahlia Street" could be confusing and may jeopardize the health, safety and welfare of the <br />community; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is necessary and desirable to rename <br />that portion of "Dahlia Street" located south of Dillon Road to provide for the orderly designation <br />of the street that will serve new development in this area, to enable particular buildings to be found <br />as quickly and easily as possible and to provide for the health, safety and convenience of the <br />community. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The public street known as "Dahlia Street" as designated on the plats of <br />"Centennial Valley Parcel H, Second Filing", and "Coal Creek Business Park", and as designated <br />on any other official, recorded document, and as located within the territorial boundaries of the City <br />of Louisville, County of Boulder, State of Colorado, is hereby renamed as follows: <br /> <br /> (a) The portion of "Dahlia Street" running in a generally southerly direction from its <br />intersection with "Dillon Road" and terminating at the limit of the dedicated public right-of-way as <br />shown on the plats of"Centennial Valley Parcel H, Second Filing" and "Coal Creek Business Park", <br />is hereby renamed, and shall hereafter be known as, "Coal Creek Circle". <br /> <br /> <br />
