Click on RE- <br />SEARCH TOOLS on the Library's homepage. Mter entering <br />your name and library card number, you will have 2417 access <br />to a wide range of databases to search for magazine articles, <br />the text of reference books, and primary source material. <br /> <br />JUST FOR TEENS <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />3 30 PM <br />Louisville Loft Anime Club has <br />settled into a regular schedule and will now <br />be meeting on the third Tuesday of every <br />month. January through May, the youth who are in the <br />Young Chautauquan group will research a figure from history <br />to "become" that character. Both programs are free' <br />and will take place in the Library's first <br />floor meeting room at 7:00 PM. <br />March 6 <br />Ron Stern will present his program "Stay Cheap, <br />Travel Cheap." Learn tips and secrets that can save you <br />money on airfare; ways to obtain free and discounted ac- <br />commodations; and how to cruise for three weeks at half <br />the normal cost. Ron is an experienced travel photojour- <br />nalist and Certified International Tour Manager. <br />March 22 <br />Library will present Richard Grant's slide show, <br />"La Ruta Maya." Richard's month-long bus journey <br />through Central America took him to five world-fa- <br />mous Maya archaeology sites-the temples of Palenque, <br />Yaxchilan on the Usumacinta River, Bonampak in the <br />Lacandon jungle, the ruins of Copan, and the jungle <br />pyramids ofTikal. Richard has a degree in cultural <br />anthropology and has traveled extensively in Mexico, <br />Guatemala, Honduras, and Belize. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />VOLUNTEERS NEEDED <br /> <br />Shelving Media (Circulation Services) Currently we are <br />looking for volunteers to shelve returned movies and audio <br />11mrsday evenings and Friday <br />and Saturday mornings. <br />Processing New Books (Technical <br />Services) Before a new book goes out <br />to the Library shelves, several steps are <br />, equired to make sure it is ready for <br />circulation.
