6 CityOf <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO -SINCE 1878 <br />Economic Vitality Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Thursday, May 27, 2021 <br />Rescheduled Regular Electronic Meeting <br />Call to Order: Councilmember Dickinson (Chair) called the electronic meeting <br />to order at 1:30 PM. <br />II. Roll Call: The following members of the City Council were present: <br />Councilmember Dickinson, Mayor Pro Tern Maloney, and Councilmember Leh. <br />Also present were Economic Vitality Director Megan Pierce, City Manager <br />Heather Balser, Historic Preservation Planner Kim Bauer, and seven members <br />of the public. <br />III. Approval of Agenda: Mayor Pro Tern Maloney made a motion to approve the <br />agenda. Motion was seconded by Chair Dickinson. Motion passed. <br />IV. Approval of Meeting Minutes: Mayor Pro Tern Maloney made a motion to <br />approve the meeting minutes of April 16, 2021; motion was seconded by Chair <br />Dickinson. Motion passed. <br />V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: Mike Kranzdorf, property <br />owner, talked about how he felt the EVC should discuss the underpass projects <br />and inclusionary zoning policies. He said both were important to discuss in light <br />of business interests. <br />Rick Kron, President of the Downtown Business Association, commented that <br />he wished for more support regarding a formal business input mechanism for <br />the EVC. He also thanked both EVC and the City Council for their work on <br />closing Main Street again this year. <br />VI. Discussion — COVID-19 Business Impact Follow -Up Survey Results: <br />Director Pierce began to overview the survey project and reminded the group <br />that the last survey like this was in March of 2020. She stated that currently we <br />are entering new phase of requirements and reopening, but when this survey <br />was distributed restrictions were in flux and on the cusp of the recovery period. <br />Director Pierce also described how many responses were received and the <br />demographics of the types of businesses that participated.
