��� C*tyof. . <br />Louisville <br />City Manager's office <br />Memorandum <br />To: Louisville Sustainability Advisory Board <br />From: Katie Baum, Sustainability Coordinator <br />Date: July 21, 2021 <br />Re: Staff Updates <br />General <br />Ed ucation/Programming <br />• Green Business <br />o Green Business opened for the 2021 year on July 1st <br />o Evaluating the opportunity for a Green Business Breakfast this fall with Superior and <br />Lafayette programs. <br />• Bicycle and Pedestrian <br />o Staff is developing a Council proclamation to name September 20-26 Louisville Bike, <br />Walk, and Wheel Week. <br />o Bike, Walk, and Wheel Week encourages residents of all abilities to leave the car at <br />home for local and regional trip taking and coordinates City programming around multi - <br />modal education and outreach. <br />o Current programming is being developed. <br />• Climate Action Outreach (LSAB) <br />o Commercial survey to be distributed Aug 15 to Sept 15 with forum in mid -October. <br />o Residential survey to go live August 111. Additional residential outreach TBD. <br />o LSAB to develop report on findings for Council in November. <br />• EV Ride and Drive <br />o Friday, September 24 from 3-6 pm at Steinbaugh Pavilion <br />o The Ride and Drive will be co -hosted with Superior and Lafayette and supported by <br />Denver Metro Clean Cities (DMCC). Looking to incorporate ebikes into the event. <br />
